Heard the learned Advocate for the parties.

Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

Accordingly, the application, being CRAN 1 of 2020, is disposed of.

Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He submits that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime and as his prayer for bail was rejected as late in August, 2020, we are of the opinion that in view of the limited period of detention, this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
