Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Accordingly, the application being IA No: CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.

Having considered the materials in the case diary disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in dealing with narcotic substance above commercial quantity and in the light of the statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

However, we direct the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
