1. By this public interest litigation the petitioner alleges the private respondent had been illegally drawing ration in the name of dead person.

2. In this regard a report was called for from which it is seen that action was initiated and fine of Rs.45,000/- was imposed on the private respondent and since he could not pay the fine, he was placed under suspension for a period of one year and only after payment of fine, his suspension was revoked.

3. Thus, it appears that action had already been initiated by the authorities for the illegality which had happened.

4. The learned Government counsel submits that as on date the problem can never happen because of the current electronic system which has been adopted by which the thumb impression of the beneficiaries is mandatory without which the ration articles will not be provided.

5. In the light of the above, we are of the view that no further orders are required in this writ petition and the same is disposed of.
