CAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration.

The petitioner seeks approval of the panel of Assistant Headmaster of the school.

The School Authorities are represented.

Learned advocate for the School Authorities submits that, the School Authority forwarded the panel to the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) for approval. The approval is awaited.

In the facts of the present case, it appears that, the petitioner applied to the post of Assistant Headmaster of the institution on December 26, 2018. The School Authorities prepared a panel and submitted such panel for approval to the

District Inspector of Schools (S.E.). The panel is yet to be considered by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.). In such circumstances, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent no. 3 to consider and decide the panel as submitted by the School Authority on December 26, 2018, in accordance with law. The respondent no. 3 will intimate its decision on the panel to the petitioner and the School Authorities within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA No. 7588 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
