Case No. 190 of 2020 dated 11.07.2020 under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In the matter of : Gopal Das & Ors.

Mr. Arindam Jana ... ... for the petitioners Mr. Rana Mukherjee, APP Ms. Sujata Das ... ... for the State Petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioners had poured hot oil on the deceased after altercation in the hotel.

We have considered the materials on record. We note that the allegation of pouring hot oil on the deceased is supported by injuries found in the post-mortem report. Keeping in mind

the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, application for anticipatory bail being CRM 7252 of 2020 is rejected.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court. (Kausik Chanda, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
