Petitioner Mr. Shibaji Kumar Das ... for the Petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee Ms. Purnima Ghosh ... for the State Mr. Das learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and produces the case diary. She further contends that the charge sheet has been submitted on 31st August, 2020. She also draws the Court's attention to the statement made under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure made by the local people. It reveals therefrom that the petitioner is very much involved in the offence along with other accused. Considering the materials on record and on perusing the case diary we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
