Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.
Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence of dacoity with murder and as trial has substantially progressed, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
