The petitioner undertakes to appropriately affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner claims that the petitioner had a love relationship with the survivor who, according to the petitioner, is more than seventeen years old.

The State refers to the statement of the survivor recorded under Section 164 of the Code. The statement appears to be clear and categorical and makes out a definite case by naming the petitioner herein.

Considering the statement of the survivor, the petitioner is not entitled to be enlarged on bail at this stage. CRM 7290 of 2020 and the interim application therein are disposed of.
