Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He further submits that there is no legal admissible evidence connecting him with the murder.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are overwhelming facts connecting the petitioner and other accused persons in the alleged crime and the trial is at its fag end.

Trial court is directed to take steps for examination of the medical officer in person or via virtual mode in accordance with law, as it deems fit and proper.

Report with regard to the progress of trial be filed on the

next date of hearing.

Let this matter appear four weeks after ensuing Puja vacation.
