For the Petitioner Mr. Susovan Sengupta ...For the Respondents This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents authorities in considering his representation dated May 28, 2019. I have heard counsel on behalf of both parties and perused the materials on record. In my view, the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 4 being the Sub-Divisional Controller (Food & Supplies) to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and, thereafter, pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from date of communication of this order and the same be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing of reasoned order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
