Five writ petitioners have jointly filed the instant writ petition by depositing only one court fees. The writ petitioners have been engaged by separate officers of the State, located at separate places. The Controlling Officers of the petitioners are absolutely separate.

I do not find any representation from the parties individually. It appears that the representations have been filed jointly by several persons claiming regulation and enhancement of payment for the services rendered by them as Data Entry Operators.

The process by which the Data Entry Operators were selected is not very clear from the annexures of the writ petition.

The learned senior advocate appearing for the State respondents submits that the petitioners were engaged through the Agency and the service of the Agency has been terminated.

The Court fails to understand as to how the service of the Data Entry Operators can be terminated and/or discontinued, if the service of the Agency has been terminated.

The writ petition being filed jointly and the parties not sharing any jural relationship is not accepted by the Court.

The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The petitioners will however, be at liberty to file fresh representations before the concerned officers for necessary relief, if so advised.

All connected applications stand disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
