Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is an innocent one and has been falsely implicated in the present case. Therefore, Court should grant anticipatory bail. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

He further draws our attention to some portion of the memorandum of evidence.

Considering the same, in our view, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required. Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Aniruddha Roy, J.) (Samapti Chatterjee, J.)
