Petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the private respondents despite a decree passed by a Civil Court attempted to encroach upon the land of the petitioner. The complaint to the police did not evoke any response.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits on instructions that, the complaint of the petitioner was enquired into and a prosecution under Section 107/116 (c) of the Criminal Procedure Code was submitted.

In the facts of the present case, there subsists a decree passed by the Civil Court.

The police will ensure that, the parties governed by the decree passed by the Civil Court adheres to the same.

W.P.A. 7703 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly. [Debangsu Basak, J.]
