Petitioner Mr. Kallol Mondal Mr. Mazhar Hossain Chowdhury ... for the Petitioner Mr. Ranabir Roychowdhury Mr. Mainak Gupta ... for the State The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent one. He has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further contended that the petitioner should be granted bail.

Mr. Roychowdhury, learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and further submits that the petitioner is very much involved in the present case. He draws our attention to the statements made under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

After going through the case diary and on perusal of the records, we are not inclined to grant bail in favour of the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Samapti Chatterjee, J. ) (Subhasis Dasgupta, J.)
