Ms. Faria Hossain Mr. Subrto Roy ...For the State. The advocate-on-record for the petitioners undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within forty eight hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

This is an alleged offence under Section 498A. The principal ground on which we are granting this application for anticipatory bail is that the incident occurred on 4th February, 2020 and the First Information Report was lodged only as read as on 16th September, 2020. The petitioners are the sister-in-law and her husband of the alleged victim. Subject to the above, in the event of arrest, the petitioners will be released on bail upon furnishing security

of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each together with personal release bond of equivalent value each to the satisfaction of the arresting officer.

The petitioners will also comply with the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code.

CRM 7411 of 2020 and the interim application filed therein are disposed of.
