Case No 107/2020 dated 20.07.2020 under Sections 21(c)/22(c)/ 23(c) & 27(a) of the NDPS Act.

And In the matter of : Sukumar Sarkar ... Petitioner.

Mr. Arijit Ghosh, Mr. Subrata Saha, .... For the petitioner.

Mr. Swapan Banerjee, Ms. Purnima Ghosh , ..... For the State.

Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner prays for an accommodation for this day.

That prayer is opposed by Mr. Banerjee learned Counsel for the State.

Mr. Banerjee submits that charge has already been framed and evidence is on progress.

Therefore, the question of granting bail of the petitioner at this stage does not arise.

After consideration of submission of the learned Counsel for the State and considering the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM 7430 of 2020 and CRAN 1 of 2020 are thus disposed of.
