The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that he is innocent of the charges and has been falsely implicated in this case. He has further submitted that as the victim is 90-year-old and the reasons of death carry no connection to the present petitioner. Mr. Dan, Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of this Court to the Post Mortem report which clearly states that the death was due to the effect of injuries and it was ante-mortem in nature.

We have perused the materials on record appearing in the case diary and so far as the petitioner is concerned, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner and as such the prayer for anticipatory bail of the present petitioner is Rejected. With these observations, CRM 7474 of 2020 and CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of.
