Petitioners complain of police inaction.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the complaint of the petitioners was enquired into and on enquiry it was found that, the petitioners were running a pisci culture on a verbal agreement with the private respondent. The police did not find commission of any cognizable offence. The police, however, submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

In such circumstances, the police taking steps as noted above and since apparently the disputes between the private parties being civil in nature, no interference is called for by the writ Court. W.P.A. 7849 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly. [Debangsu Basak, J.]
