Basu Mallick, ..for the State The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is against the alleged inaction of the concerned State respondents in not allowing her prayer for transfer to the post of any Assistant Teacher of any school in the district of North 24 Parganas from her present place of employment in the school in the district of Nadia.

In view of the recent Circular dated October 16, 2020 issued by the Principal Secretary, Government of West Bengal, School Education Department, this writ petition is disposed by allowing the petitioner to file the requisite application before the Commissioner of School, West Bengal praying for her transfer to any school in the district of North 24 Parganas.

The Commissioner of School Education shall decide the prayer of the petitioner within eight weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's application

and after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
