Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner hands up a statement recording that the petitioner has already received the arrear salary on 23rd February, 2024 and only the Provident Fund, Gratuity and other post-retirement dues remain to be paid as on date.

Learned counsel appearing for the State is present and submits that appropriate orders may be passed in terms of subsequent development. Admittedly, the University issued a Notification on 15th January, 2024 pursuant to the directions passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court dated 19th September, 2023 in WPA 22027 of 2022. The Notification makes it clear that all the Accompanist Teachers will retire on attaining the age of 65 years. The petitioner attained that age on 31st January, 2024. Only the Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Encashment Salary and the

monthly pension from February, 2024 remain to be disbursed by the University.

The University is directed to take required steps for disbursement of the petitioner's dues under the aforesaid heads within four weeks from today.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the University usually disburses these amounts within a fortnight from the date of retirement.

The Court is also informed that the earlier interim order passed by this Court is no longer relevant in view of the subsequent Notification. WPA 7883 of 2020 is disposed of in terms of the above.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
