Kutubuddin .....For the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner claims that the petitioner, aged about 23 years, had a long-standing relationship with the alleged survivor, aged about 20 years, and there is no question of the further detention of the petitioner, particularly since the charge-sheet has been filed.

The State corroborates that the petitioner had a relationship with the alleged survivor. The State also says that the chargesheet has been filed. In such circumstances, the further detention of the petitioner may not be necessary. The petitioner will be released upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with

two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the appropriate Court in Malda. The petitioner will attend every date fixed for trial and any unexplained absence would entitle the trial court to cancel the petitioner's bail without reference to this Court.

CRM 7522 of 2020 and CRAN 1 of 2020 therein are disposed of.
