Dan ... ...For the State The petitioner claims that the petitioner was elsewhere in the country when the petitioner is alleged to have committed rape within the jurisdiction of Krishnaganj Police Station in Nadia. The State refers to the statement of the survivor. The 12-year-old survivor has described the incident in clear words. It also appears that the petitioner was identified at the test identification parade.

Considering the nature of the offence and the material against the petitioner, no case for bail is made out. CRM 7523 of 2020 is disposed of.
