Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the police are inactive despite two complaints. He draws attention of the Court that, there is a civil suit pending between the private parties. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that of the two complaints received by the police, in respect of the first one, there is a proceeding under Section 144 CrPC pending; in respect of the second, the police enquired and submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

The police having taken steps as noted above, no further interference is called for by the writ Court. However, this order will not prevent the petitioner from availing of his remedies before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law.

WPA 7919 of 2020 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
