Panda Ms. Puspita Saha ... ...For the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The State says that the petitioner's wife died within three months of marriage and a diary recovered from the house reveals that the victim was upset as the petitioner was involved with some other lady.

Considering the circumstances, the petitioner's continued detention may not be necessary, particularly since the chargesheet has already been filed. The petitioner will be released on bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) together with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the appropriate court in North 24 Parganas. The petitioner will, however, attend the trial court on every date fixed for trial and any unexplained

absence will entitle the trial court to cancel the bail without reference to this Court.

C.R.M. 7528 of 2020 and C.R.A.N. 1 of 2020 are disposed of.
