.... For State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conferencing on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner renews his prayer after the previous rejection in February last primarily on the ground that the case has not progressed much since then.

Unfortunately, the pandemic intervened, resulting in a complete and, later, a partial lockdown. It has not been possible for final hearing of the matters, including criminal trial, to be taken up. It is hoped that final hearing of criminal trial will be taken up from the beginning of December, 2020. It is hoped that the present matter gets the immediate attention of the appropriate Court. The prayer for bail is refused at this stage.

CRM 7534 of 2020 along with CRAN 1 of 2020 are disposed of.
