The records demonstrate that, the authorities afforded the petitioner an opportunity of hearing in the year 2019. The petitioner is yet to receive the pensionary benefits or the result of such hearing.

State is represented.

Since, the petitioner is yet to receive any pensionary benefits, it would be appropriate that, the respondent no.2 should decide the issue as expeditiously as possible.

In such circumstances, the respondent no.2 is requested to call for the entire records from the relevant authorities and decide the issue as to the receipt of pensionary benefits by the petitioner. In the event, respondent no.2 is of the view that, the petitioner is entitled to pensionary benefits, he will take appropriate measures with regard thereto. In the event, the respondent no.2 is of the view that, the petitioner is not entitled to any pensionary benefits, he will communicate his reasoned order to the petitioner forthwith thereafter.

It is expected that, the entire exercise is completed by the respondent no.2 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. No.7972 of 2020 is disposed of.
