Petitioner is in custody for 416 days.

It is submitted that the victim died in the course of free fight. Learned lawyer for the state opposes the prayer for bail and submits that his prayer had been repeatedly turned down by this Court.

We have considered the materials on record and keeping in mind the gravity of the offence and the fact that the prayer for bail was rejected in June 2020 and as there is no progress in the matter due to the pandemic condition, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. We request the Trial Court to take necessary steps for progress in the matter.

CRM 7602 of 2020 is disposed of.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
