Bose Mr. Sujoy Mondal ........ for the Baruipur Municipality Mr. Kuntal Banerjee ......... for the private respondents The Chairperson of the Board of Administrators of the Baruipur Municipality has forwarded a report to this Court dated 28.01.2021 wherefrom it appears that the Municipality had tried on two earlier occasions on 9th November, 2020 and 28th January, 2021 to effect water connection to the premises of the petitioner but have failed to do so in view of the objection raised by the private respondents herein. The Municipality has mentioned in the said report that the water connection will be effected underneath the land from where the electric connection is passing in the said premises.

The learned advocate representing the private respondents submits, upon instruction, that presently they do not have any objection with regard to providing water connection to the petitioner in the said premises in the land from where the electric connection is being effected. In view of such submission the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Municipality to take

necessary steps for effecting water connection to the premises of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from date of communication of a copy of this order. The Municipality may seek assistance from the Officer-in-charge of the Baruipur Police Station, if required. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
