The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

Having considered the materials on record and the nature of injury suffered by the victim and the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioners in the commission of offence, we feel that custodial interrogation is not necessary and we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

In the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each together with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the investigating officer subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The petitioners shall not enter the jurisdiction of the concerned police station except for meeting the investigating officer or attending the Court. It is also directed that the petitioners shall meet the investigating officer of the case once a week.

It is further directed that the petitioners shall provide the address where the petitioners shall presently reside to the investigating officer and the court below and shall report to the officer-in-charge of the concerned police station within whose jurisdiction the petitioners shall presently reside once in a fortnight until further orders. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM 7649 of 2020 is allowed.
