For the State The present writ petition has been preferred challenging inter alia the inaction on the part of the respondents to grant permission to the petitioners for conducting Durga Puja this year.

Heard Mr. Mostafa, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

Mr. Bihani, learned advocate appearing for the State respondents submits that to obtain the permission for conducting the Durga Puja this year, the petitioners are required to file appropriate online application but no such application has been filed. Upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to submit an online application seeking permission for conducting Durga Puja this year, in the event the time for submission of such application is still subsisting.

Needless to observe, in the event such online

application is submitted, the same shall be considered by the competent State authority, in accordance with law forthwith.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court.
