... for the State It is submitted by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that he is in custody for over 100 days. Investigation is complete. It is also submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case.
Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
We have considered the materials on record. We find that the statement of the minor victim is corroborated by her friend.
In view of the aforesaid fact and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner at this stage.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
