Anwar Hossain Ms. Ratna Ghosh ......For the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through videoconference on the basis of such undertaking. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the victim of political rivalry.

The learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some of the accused persons are on regular bail.

We have considered the case diary and the materials produced along with the case diary.

Having considered the materials on record and the statements under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as the statements of the witnesses implicating the

petitioner along with others, we are not inclined to grant the anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
