The petitioner undertakes to affirm and appropriately stamp the petition as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The application is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

Having considered the materials available with the case diary and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Since the trial has progressed and two witnesses have already been examined, we direct the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the matter preferably within a period of six months after the normal functioning of the Court is resumed.

The application for bail being CRM 7772 of 2020 is thus rejected.
