In spite of service of notice upon the learned advocate representing the State respondents pursuant to the previous order dated 6th April, 2022 the State respondents are not represented today.

Mr. Soumen Kumar Dutta, learned advocate is representing the petitioner and has ventilated the grievance of the petitioner that in spite of making representation before the Additional District SubRegistrar, Contai, District- Purba Medinipur, on 30th September, 2020 for supply of certified copy of the registered Sale Deed which was executed in the year 1991 upon submitting deficit value of the stamp paper since it was found that forged stamp paper was used at the time of execution of the sale deed, no response is forthcoming from the said Additional District Sub-Registrar, respondent no. 4. It appears from page 16 of the writ petition that the petitioner made the representation on 30th September, 2020 and prayer has been made for consideration of such representation by the said respondent no. 4.

Having heard the learned advocate

representing the petitioner this Court grants leave to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the Additional District Sub-Registrar, Contai, respondent no. 4 within a period of fortnight from this date. If such representation is made the same shall be considered by the respondent no. 4 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the said representation and the respondent no. 4 is further directed to pass a reasoned order. The decision to be taken by the respondent no. 4 shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

The notice dated 8th April, 2022 is taken on record.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
