The petitioner seeks reinstatement of his service with the respondent University. Diverse orders have been passed from time to time.

By an order dated February 18, 2025, the respondent University had taken an adjournment on the ground that instructions were pending in so far as the proposal of the committee constituted by the respondents are concerned. It is submitted on behalf of both the parties that pursuant to orders of this Court, a One Man Committee formed by the respondent University has taken a final decision and the same has also been forwarded to the concerned authority.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present writ petition. The respondent

University is directed to act expeditiously in accordance with law and take a final decision. With the above directions, WPA 8316 of 2020 stands disposed of without any order as to costs.
