Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a representation dated 6th December, 2019 was made by the petitioner before the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance being the respondent no. 3 in the instant application. The representation was made by the petitioner as the authorities have denied the petitioner, who is a widowed daughter of a deceased teacher, to grant and disburse the arrear family pension for the period from 18th December, 2005 to 1st June, 2014. But such representation made before the respondent no. 3 has not been considered till date.

appearing for the State is present.

Heard both the parties.

The Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance being the respondent no. 3 is requested to consider the representation made by the petitioner positively within a period of six weeks from date after giving an opportunity of hearing and to allow the petitioner or her legal representative to produce necessary documents at the time of hearing. The decision to be arrived at by the respondent no. 3 should be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from taking such decision. With the above direction WPA 8325 of 2020 is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. There will be no order as to costs.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
