The petitioner undertakes to affirm and appropriately stamp the petition as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The application is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

Having considered the order passed by the coordinate bench on August 3, 2020 and considering the fact that there has been no change in circumstances since the order of rejection and that the charges have been framed and trial has commenced, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

However, we direct the trial court to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months from the date of resumption of the normal functioning of the Court without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

CRM 7839 of 2020 is thus rejected.
