A.P.P., Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ...for the State Statements of victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure disclose active role of the petitioner in abducting him for ransom. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
