.... For State The petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition as per the rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conferencing on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioners state that the petitioners had progressed substantially on the proposal of victim's family for the victim to marry the petitioner no.1, but it did not work out. The would-be bride committed suicide thereafter.

The petitioner no.1 is the principal accused. The others are the close relatives of the petitioner no.1. The petitioners say that merely because they turned down the proposal it would not imply that the petitioners abetted the victim in committing suicide. Considering the flimsy material against the petitioners, there is no question of their custodial interrogation. Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioners will be enlarged on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/-( Rupees Ten

Thousand only) each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. The petitioners will abide by the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In any event, the petitioners must cooperate in the investigation process in every manner as and when they may be called upon.

CRM 7873 of 2020 along with CRAN 1 of 2020 is disposed of. Authenticated website copies of this order be immediately made available to the parties, subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
