The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner claims not to have been involved in the incident. The petitioner says that the petitioner is not one of the persons named in the complaint.

The State refers to the name of the petitioner in the complaint, but it appears that the father's name of the petitioner's namesake is different.

The matter pertains to a grievous injury sustained by the survivor following a violent clash between two groups. Several of the persons have obtained bail.

Considering the nature of the incident and the possible role of the petitioner therein, the prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed.

In the event of arrest, the petitioner will be enlarged on bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer.

The petitioner will also abide by the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code.

CRM 7874 of 2020 is disposed of.
