Advocate Mr. Aniket Mitra, Ld. Advocate ... for the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking. The State says that since the previous rejection of the prayer on December 9, 2019 there is no change in circumstances except that the trial has not been taken up. Considering that the lockdown imposed has impeded final hearings and trials being taken up, the lack of progress in the trial is understandable. It is hoped that normal functioning of court would resume in the next two or three months. Since there is no change in circumstances since the previous rejection of the prayer in December, 2019, the present prayer for bail is rejected.
