Mr. N. Ahamed Mr. Anwar Hossain Ms. Amita Gaur ... for the State. The advocate-on-record for the petitioners undertake to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertakings. The petitioners are in custody for more than 100 days. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioners that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case in consequence of a love relationship with the deceased victim. Learned advocate, Mr. Arnab Saha for the petitioner submits that an extra judicial confession appears to be the foundation behind the implication of the petitioners. Learned advocate, Ms. Amita Gaur representing the State adverting to pages 27 and 59 of the Case Diary submits that there are materials showing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence.

Having considered the materials already collected in the Case Diary transpiring involvement of the petitioners with alleged offence together with the gravity of the offence, we are not persuaded to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail is, thus refused. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
