The writ petition speaks of three complaints dated September 9, 2020, September 10, 2020 and October 7, 2020.

A report was called for by the order dated July 13, 2021 from the police on the three complaints.

Learned advocate for the State submits a report dated July 22, 2021 which be taken on record.

From the report it appears that there are number of writ petitions filed by the parties to the instant proceeding. There are number of criminal complaints also. The report also demonstrates that there are disputes between private parties relating to an immovable property.

Learned advocate for the petitioner draws attention of the court to an order dated November 7, 2019 passed in WP 19601 (W) of 2019. He also draws attention of the court to an order passed by the Executive Magistrate under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code and a complaint by the petitioners to the Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.

The order of the High Court directs the police to maintain peace at the locale. The proceedings under Section 144 Cr.P.C. are now stale. The report of the police demonstrates that the police took steps on the basis of the complaints received from time to time.

In view of the disputes between the private parties being civil in nature and long standing and the police taking steps on the complaint lodged by the parties from time to time, no further interference of the writ court is called for. WPA 8434 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly.
