And In the matter of:- Pappu Ahamed ... Petitioner Mr. Sagar Saha ... petitioner Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Manasi Roy ..for the State The petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been falsely implicated. He has having love relationship with the victim. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. It is submitted that the victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. has alleged that the petitioner had induced her father to pay Rs.3 lakhs to him with a promise to get a job for the victim and thereafter he arrived at the premises of the victim few days back with a gun and forced her to marry him.

He forcefully taken away the victim and thereafter without consent of the victim committed rape.

The State has produced the report of the medical examination of the victim.

Considering the statement of the victim directly implicating the petitioner and the medical examination report, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

The application for bail is rejected.

CRM 7930 of 2020 is disposed of.
