Learned Junior Standing Counsel appearing for the State submits on instructions that the complaint of the petitioner treated as a First Information Report and that, one accused was arrested who subsequently obtained bail. He submits that, disputes between the private parties are civil in nature.
In the facts of the present case, since the police acted on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, registered the same as a First Information Report, completed the investigation thereon and submitted a charge sheet with regard thereto, the question of police inaction does not arise.
WPA 8436 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
