Petitioner is in custody since 2017. It is submitted that there is no direct evidence connecting the petitioner with the alleged crime. Learned lawyer for the State submits that there are eye witnesses implicating the petitioner in the murder of the victim. Trial is at its fag end.

Having considered the materials on record and in view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime and as the trial is at its fag end, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same without granting unnecessary adjournments.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
