And In the matter of: Debashish Choudhury & Ors.

....Petitioners.

Mr. Sourav Dhara ...for the Petitioners.

Mr. Ranabir Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Mainak Gupta ...for the State.

Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the nature of allegations in the light of the submission that the coaccused persons have been granted pre-arrest bail, we are inclined to grant same privilege to the petitioners.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In addition, the petitioners will also report to the Investigating Officer at such time and place as may be specified by the concerned police officer. However, the petitioners will not leave the State without informing the investigating officer three days in advance, till the investigation is completed. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of. The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
