(DL 30) (S. Banerjee) Mr. S. P. Pahari ... for the petitioner Mr. Suman Basu ... for the respondent no. 3 The petitioner claims family pension. She made a representation praying for family pension to the Principal Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal vide a letter dated 9th January, 2020. The Senior Accounts Officer/Pension by a communication dated 19th February, 2020 intimated the petitioner that her prayer for releasing the family pension ought to be forwarded and routed through the pension sanctioning authority. In the instant case the pension sanctioning authority of the petitioner is the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haldia.

Leave is granted to the petitioner to approach the pension sanctioning authority for processing her claim of family pension.

In the event the petitioner applies within a fortnight from date, the pension sanctioning authority shall process the papers of the petitioner within four weeks thereafter.

The writ petitioner stands disposed of.
