The alleged contemnor no. 5, i.e., the Block Development Officers of each case, are present in court in person. It is submitted on behalf of the
alleged contemnors that the payment has been released except in respect of one of the petitioners as that petitioner has not raised voucher.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have got information that the respondents have released the payment.
In view of the submissions made by the counsel for the respective parties, for the time being the personal appearance of the alleged contemnor no. 5 is dispensed with.
The counsel for the alleged contemnors submitted that though they have preferred an appeal, no stay has been granted in the appeal. They submitted that they require some time to comply with the order.
In view of the submission of the alleged contemnors three weeks' time is granted to comply with the order.
Accordingly, the matter will appear in the list on 9th August, 2023.
Alleged contemnors are directed to file the affidavit of compliance on the next date of hearing.
