For the State The petitioner undertakes to appropriately affirm and stamp the petition as per the Rules within one week of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

The petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant.

The State says that the complaint of the wife was that the husband tried to kill her; but there is no report of any injury being suffered by the wife. Apparently, the husband attempted to throttle the wife to death.

Considering the material against the petitioner, his custodial interrogation may not be necessary. In the event of arrest, the petitioner will be enlarged on bail upon furnishing security of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer. The petitioner will also

abide by the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code.

CRM 8039 of 2020 is disposed of.
